About AIGCVerify
AIGCVerify is an independent provenance checker for supported OpenAI signals in images and audio. It is not an official OpenAI product and does not provide OpenAI customer support or fact checking conclusions.
Updated August 6, 2026What this site does
AIGCVerify sends one file intentionally uploaded by the user to the OpenAI Content Provenance API and reports C2PA Content Credentials and SynthID watermark results separately.
- Checks supported content generated or modified by OpenAI tools
- Shows issuer, model, and creation time only when returned by the API
- Explains the limits of provenance evidence
What this site does not do
A missing signal does not prove human authorship. The site does not judge truthfulness, reconstruct prompts, identify an account, or replace human investigation.
Sources
Product explanations are based on OpenAI Verify, the Content Provenance API, and OpenAI API data controls documentation. C2PA and SynthID names belong to their respective owners.
Contact and feedback
AIGCVerify does not operate a channel that impersonates OpenAI support. If you access a deployment provided by an organization or individual, use that deployer’s published contact channel for technical issues, corrections, or privacy requests.
